Application
The Destoner are used to remove foreign body such as stones, metals, glass pieces and the like in coffee roasting plants and other food industries.
The Destoner of TDS Series works on the principle of gravity. By using a pneumatic system (with help of air blowers), the roasted coffee beans or other granular fruits such as legumes are carried up clarify and separated from heavy foreign bodies. The separated foreign bodies in this way are collected in a container located in the lower area of the Destoner.
Use of Destoner
The granular fruits like green coffee and legumes are natural products. The foreign bodies that got into the natural property in the respective countries of origin during the harvesting and further processing must be cleaned or removed later. For this reason, the use of the Destoner has been required in the food industry for the separation of foreign bodies in further production phases e.g. after roast process and before the Grinding process.

The Destoner of the TDS series are available with a capacity of 15 to 1000 kg batch - compatible to Shop Roaster and Industrial Roaster:

Control and integration of the Destoner in the production system
The Toper Destoners of the TDS series can be integrated immediately and easily into the production system. Destoner is controlled either directly from the coffee roaster or independently.
